JAKARTA - December 22 every year in Indonesia is always a special day known as the commemoration of National Mother's Day. In 2024, the Ministry of Women's Empowerment and Child Protection (KemenPPPA) has set a special theme to celebrate 96 years of Mother's Day.

Carrying the theme Women Greeting, Women Empowered Towards Indonesia Gold 2024, this year's Mother's Day celebration reflects appreciation for the important role of women in supporting the progress of the nation and also an invitation to support women's empowerment in various aspects of life.

In commemoration of Mother's Day this year, let's look at the inspirational stories of Reni Nofriyanti, Della Seni Nadia, and Eva Rahmawati. Three great and inspiring mothers who became family heroes by empowering technological advances.

Reni Nofriyanti's struggle led her two daughters to pursue education

Behind ShopeeFood's helmet and orange jacket, there is a story of the struggle of a mother named Reni Nofriyanti. Since November 2021, this 55-year-old woman decided to return to work by becoming a driver partner for ShopeeFood.

Thanks to her consistency in creating interesting content, Della managed to finance her family's life and sister's education. In fact, this mother of two children also managed to send her parents to Umrah to the holy land.

"Starting from trying to post videos of children's toys, fashion products, and household appliances, I just try to be consistent in making video reviews on Shopee Videos. Over time, the number of viewers of my content continues to increase. This year, my sales turnover through Shopee Video content has also succeeded in reaching billions of rupiah and I managed to realize the dream of my parents going Umrah to the holy land," said Della.

Della admitted that in a day, she can produce 5 videos that review local products. Every day, Della manages to help MSME entrepreneurs sell hundreds of products through her Shopee Video content. Not only focusing on Shopee Video content, Della is also trying to explore Shopee Live content by building a special live studio in order to open more jobs for those around her.
