NCW Melonak, Clarification Of The Issue Of Money Laundering Raffi Ahmad: Not Accusing But Alleging

JAKARTA - General Chairperson of National Corruption Watch (NCW) Hanifa Sutrisna clarified the issue of money laundering allegedly involving celebrity Raffi Ahmad. In the clarification video uploaded on the YouTube channel, Cumicumi, Monday, Hanifa Sutrisna said that NCW did not accuse Raffi Ahmad of being involved in money laundering crimes. According to him, NCW only suspects that Raffi Ahmad was involved in the white collar crime. According to him, the allegation is the amplification of two reports that go to NCW. According to Hanifa Sutrisna, it is suspected that there has been a criminal act of corruption, collusion, and nepotism (KKN) involving the celebrity husband of Nagita Slavina. He even asked everyone to re-watch the video uploaded by NCW some time ago related to the report. In the video, according to him, he did not accuse at all but informed the existence of a report received by NCW on the allegation. "What we convey is that there are allegations of money laundering crimes committed by this R artist. not accusing him of, there are allegations. It is based on public complaints that we received," he said. "If we do not convey this public complaint, our credibility as a non-governmental organization (LSM) NCW is questioned," he continued. Heniafa Sutrisna said that currently NCW will not respond to the insistence of Hotman Paris Hutapea and Raffi Ahmad who asked them to disclose data on the alleged money laundering. He said NCW's job only accepts and channel information that goes into their institutions. "If we are invited to argue related to the data, let law enforcement officers solve it and straighten it out. We also have no intention of serving a quasir debate that is not our domain as well," he explained.

He only ensured that currently NCW did receive two reports related to allegations involving Raffi Ahmad. According to him, this allegation will be studied more deeply by NCW. According to him, if there is sufficient evidence from the study, the report will be forwarded to law enforcement. "We will again convey whether this will be feasible as a complaint offense that we will submit later," he said.
