Prabowo Focuses On National Transformation, Free Lunch To School 10 Thousand Children Abroad

JAKARTA - Presidential and Vice Presidential Candidate number 2 Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming Raka has a big plan for Indonesia which is named the nation's transformation strategy. Prabowo said this strategy was to improve the prosperity of the Indonesian nation, especially improving the quality of life of all people.

Focusing on realizing the nation's transformation, Prabowo revealed a number of strategic projects that will become the flagship program of his government in the future. Namely feeding nutritiously to all Indonesian children, including those who are still in the womb, during school to adulthood.

"This overcomes the maternal mortality rate, overcomes malnutrition, stunting, eliminates extreme poverty absorbing all yields from farmers and fishermen, increasing our economic growth by at least 1.5-2 percent. Thus we address fundamental problems in improving Indonesia's quality of life," Prabowo said in his presentation on his vision and mission and ideas at the opening of the fifth debate held at the Jakarta Convention Center, Sunday, February 4.

In addition to free lunch, Prabowo-Gibran will also pay attention to the world of health by building modern hospitals in every district/city and modern health center in every village throughout Indonesia.

"We are immediately accelerating, overcoming the shortage of doctors. We are short of 140 thousand doctors, we will immediately overcome it by adding to the medical faculty in Indonesia. Now 92, we will build 300 medical faculties and send 10,000 smart children from high school graduates abroad, study medicine and learn systems, we fight over technology, we fight over science," explained the Minister of Defense.

Not only that, the General Chairperson of the Gerindra Party also promised to build 3 million houses for people who do not yet have a home.

"One million in rural areas, one million in coastal areas, one million in urban areas," said Prabowo.

Prabowo emphasized that strategic education must also be improved. Among them, increasing the salaries of teachers, including honorary, improving teacher competence, providing training and structuring.

"All state administrators, ASN, TNI, Polri, agricultural extension workers must be improved. So that their quality of life is good and provides the best service to the people," said Prabowo.

"Those are some of our flagship programs in the context of the nation's transformation strategy. We are not just development, we want the transformation of the nation, we are on the economic foundation of President Jokowi and the previous presidents. That is our thought of achieving Indonesia Gold 2045," he concluded.
