Central Jakarta Police Deploy Horseed Police And Tracking Dogs In Ring 2 Debat Candidates

Central Jakarta Metro Police deployed equestrian police (Turangga) to sniffer dogs in securing the last debate for the 2024 presidential candidate (Capres) at the Jakarta Convention Center (JCC), Senayan, Central Jakarta.

"Four policemen rode in ring 2, namely around the lobby and the entrance to the JCC for security during the debate until it was finished," said Central Jakarta Metro Police Chief, Kombes Susatyo Purnomo Condro, Sunday, February 4.

Kombes Susatyo explained that the four horses ridden by the police would circle around the JCC area as an effort to strengthen security during the presidential candidate debate.

In addition, joint forces from the TNI, Polri, KPU Internal Security (Pamdal) and the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government (Pemprov) are also on guard in ring 1, namely the debate area.

In addition to the equestrian police, the Central Jakarta Metro Police also deployed dozens of trail motorized personnel to circle the JCC area, namely in ring 3 in the outer sector of the entrances to the GBK area to parking pockets.

"All troops began to ride, motorbike troops, and even some sniffer dogs were also deployed to strengthen security and comb luggage to prevent the presence of narcotics and explosives," he said.

Dozens of fully uniformed police officers have begun guarding the entrance and access to the vehicle to the debate location.
