Preventing Cheating, BSNPG Trains 830 Thousand Witnesses To Guard The 2024 Election

JAKARTA - The National Witness Board of the Golkar Party (BSNPG) admits that it is very ready to oversee the results of the vote in the 2024 General Election, both the Legislative Election (Pileg) and the Presidential Election (Pilpres).

"Preparations from the National Witness Board of the Golkar Party until January 30, 2024, have reached 94 percent. We have been working several months to produce data from 38 provinces 514 regencies/cities," said BSNPG General Treasurer Nicolas Kesuma in a written statement, Wednesday, January 31.

Nico said that the consolidation of witnesses had also been carried out both physically and online.

"One month we did technical guidance online and previously we did training of trainers divided by region to continue to carry out training. We are not bored and tireless of providing provision so that the witnesses understand their work duties, as well as the mechanism for winning the Golkar Party," he explained.

To monitor votes in the field at the vote later, candidates and DPDs in all regions will coordinate actively.

"One witness to one TPS, when referring to the number of TPS throughout Indonesia as much as eight hundreds of thousands, means eight hundred and three tens of thousands of Golkar witnesses who are 94 percent in the near future will be 100 percent," he explained.

He is also optimistic that in the near future the readiness of the witnesses will be 100 percent.

"This is just a matter of tidying up or being perfected, in the next 14 days we will be even more enthusiastic. Witnesses' apples will also be held," he said.

Meanwhile, BSNPG secretary Azhar Adam said BSNPG would certainly partner with the organizers to prevent fraud.

"This is related to Bawaslu, from us of course there are actions inside and outside, basically everything is filled," he said.

Sound safety, said Adam, must also be extra and of course the witness has been provided inside or outside the polling station.

"We will also observe the symptoms of fraud. So it is clear that BSNPG will coordinate with Bakumham Golkar at all levels in the regions as well," he said.
