JAKARTA - The DKI Jakarta General Election Supervisory Agency (Bawaslu) admits that several election supervisors (Panwaslu) in its area have resigned due to the too minimal wage factor.

The Coordinator of the Prevention and Participation Division of the DKI Jakarta Bawaslu Community, Burhanuddin, said that PTPS officers will receive a wage of Rp. 1 million based on the Letter of the Minister of Finance Number: 5/5715/MK.302/2022.

"Maybe it considers the work quite difficult with the honorarium that may have been calculated. The honor of being a TPS supervisor is only Rp. 1 million," Burhanuddin told reporters in the Kalibata area, Pancoran, South Jakarta, Monday, January 29.
