OSO Reminds TNI-Polri Must Be Fair: If They Take Sides, They Are Betrayers!

Chairman of the Hanura Party, Oesman Sapta Odang (OSO), reminded law enforcement officials to be fair when the 2024 presidential election was held. They should not side with certain partners in the contestation.

This was conveyed by Oesman after attending the weekly meeting of the Ganjar-Mahfud National Winning Team (TPN), Wednesday, January 3. He said law enforcement officers who took sides betrayed the community.

"The TNI-Polri are obliged (to act fairly, ed). Because they come from the people for the people, if they take sides, they are traitors. If he takes sides with the people, he becomes the pride of the people," Oesman told reporters at the High End building, Kebon Sirih, Central Jakarta.

Oesman said that the justice of law enforcement officers has indeed caught the attention of the Ganjar-Mahfud TPN. In fact, in this meeting, this matter was also discussed, including the attitude of the election organizers.

"This is really, yes, there should be no betrayal of this nation. Not only the TNI-Polri but the one holding this election is honest and there will be no intimidation from now on," he said.

In the future, Oesman ensured that TPN would closely monitor the attitude of law enforcement officials and election organizers. In fact, they will come to various stakeholders to confirm it.

However, Oesman did not specify when the steps would be taken. "Later we will come to all parties," he said.

"Including the National Police, the TNI and figures who have the interests of the prosperity of this nation," concluded Oesman.
