Rizal Ramli Will Be Buried In Jeruk Purut TPU, One Liang With His Wife

JAKARTA The former Coordinating Minister (Menko) for Maritime Affairs Rizal Ramli plans to be buried tomorrow, Thursday, January 4. Rizal Ramli will be buried at the Public Cemetery (TPU) Jeruk Posisi, South Jakarta.

"On Thursday it will be buried at the Jeruk Purut TPU, where his wife was also buried at the Poulk Jeruk TPU. One hole," said Yosef Sampurna Nggarang, Rizal Ramli's family to reporters Wednesday, January 3.

Yosef explained that the daughter of the late Rizal Ramli who was in the United States is now returning to Indonesia.

"It's (departing). It's still in the process of returning here, yes, it's possible to come here as soon as possible. That's one of the decisions," he said.

According to Yosef, when the deceased struggled with her illness, it was free time for Rizal Ramli to get close to his family.

"There is a chance to be close to the family. That's the point. So for one month, if you ask where is Rizal? That's right, he is being treated and that's an opportunity to be close to his family," he said.

Rizal Ramli passed away on Tuesday, January 2, 2024, at the Cipto Mangunkusumo Hospital (RSCM) Jakarta at 19.30 WIB.
