KPK Calls Eddy Hiariej Legal Mafia, Promises SP3 Case Of PT CLM Boss

JAKARTA - Deputy Chairman of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) Alexander Marwata said that former Deputy Minister of Law and Human Rights (Wamenkumham) Edward Omar Sharif Hiariej and Eddy Hiariej as examples of the legal mafia. This was conveyed by Alexander Marwata regarding the suspicion that Eddy promised the issuance of an investigation termination warrant (SP3) in the case of former President Director of PT Citra Lampia Mandiri (CLM), Helmut Hermawan at Bareskrim Polri. It is suspected that there was a provision of Rp3 billion to smooth out such efforts. This is what the term of the law mafia or so on.' Finally, Eddy allegedly used his power as Deputy Minister of CLM to open the PT CLM blockage in the Legal Agency Administration (SABH) Kemenkum.
