Nusron Wahid Said That The PSN PIK 2 Project Belonging To Aguan Was Blocked By Spatial Planning

JAKARTA - Minister of ATR/BPN Nusron Wahid revealed the fate of the Tropical Coastland national strategic project (PSN) at Pantai Indah Kapuk (PIK) 2 which was worked on by Agung Sedayu Group owned by Sugianto Kusuma or Aguan.

For your information, Aguan's project was hampered by spatial problems. Where the planning of the project is not in accordance with the development plan.

Nusron admitted that he had not been able to follow up on the project. This is because until now the local government has not submitted a change to the regional spatial plan (RTRW).

In addition, continued Nusron, from PT Pantai Indah Kapuk Dua Tbk (PANI), the issuer of the Agung Sedayu Group and the Salim Group also has not submitted a request for recommendations for the Compliance of Spatial Utilization Activities (KKPR) to the Ministry of ATR/BPN.

"How will it go (PNS Tropical Coastland at PIK 2)? There has been no continuation, how do I want to answer? Until today the local government has also not submitted a change to RTRW, the project actor has not submitted a request for a KKPR recommendation. So yes, we cannot state anything," he said in the media gathering at the Ministry of ATR/BPN office, Jakarta, Tuesday, December 31.

According to Nusron, the problem could actually be resolved. He said the local government must propose changes to the provincial RTRW and district/city RTRW in accordance with the substance approval from the Ministry of ATR/BPN.

However, the RTRW change must get a purpose for substance from Kenentian ATR/BPN. If he does not propose a change in RTRW, then the person concerned must ask for a recommendation from the KKPR. To whom? Minister of ATR/BPN," he explained.

In addition, Nusron said, the Tropical Coastland project land in PIK 2, also intersects with protected forest areas.

He said, from an area of 1,755 hectares (ha), 1,500 ha of the land is a protected forest.

Nursron said, there are two steps that can be taken to utilize protected forests as other use areas (APL).

First, reduce the status of protected forests to conversion forests first.

Then, continued Nusron, the second is to turn convection forests into APL so that they can be worked on.

"Usually the release of forests from the conversion forest to APL is not the same. So they have to prepare two times off the land," he said.
