JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has seized a unit of a car belonging to the wife of the inactive Regent of Kuantan Singingi (Kuansing) Suhardiman Amby, Suci Nitia Edwar. The vehicle is suspected to be related to the bribery case for filling the post of Head of the Public Works Service (PU) in the Kuansing Regency.
KPK spokesman Budi Prasetyo said the seizure was carried out by investigators on Monday, July 27. The seized vehicle is a Mitsubishi Pajero Sport with a metallic brown color.
"Investigators also seized one unit of a Pajero Sport car from the SNE of the Regent of Kuansing, and are on their way to be towed to Jakarta," Budi said in his statement, Friday, July 31.
On the same day, Suci was also examined as a witness in the case that ensnared Suhardiman Amby and Zulkarnain.

Budi said the witnesses were investigated regarding the auction process for the position that Zulkarnain followed to occupy the position of Head of the PU Office or the Secretary of the Kuansing District.
"In addition, investigators also investigated the alleged bribe in the form of a Pajero Sport vehicle when ZUL served as the Head of the PU Office of Kuantan Singingi Regency," said Budi.
Not only that, investigators also investigated the exchange of money at a money changer that was allegedly used to give money to the Ministry of Forestry regarding the process of releasing forest areas.

The request was fulfilled by Zulkarnain who bought the vehicle through a credit scheme using Ardiles' identity for financing applications.
The KPK also found other alleged receipts made by Suhardiman related to the process of releasing Limited Production Forest (HPT) areas. Investigators are said to be tracing the amount of receipts, the mechanism of giving to the party suspected of receiving at the Ministry of Forestry.
