Officers Socialize Changes In Mining Truck Operational Hours In Bogor, Violating Directions

BOGOR - The Bogor Regency Transportation Service (Dishub) socialized a new Regent Regulation (Perbup) regarding the operating hours of special mining transportation to transporters and mining business managers.

"This is so that companies and transporters will understand this broadcast hour, and hopefully we will do this socialization in the next few days," said Head of the Bogor Regency Transportation Agency Agus Ridhallah in Cibinong, Bogor, Thursday, November 23, quoted by Antara.

He explained, during the socialization stage, transportation that operates outside of air hours has not been given sanctions, but is only asked to turn around.

However, after the socialization period is over, the Bogor Regency Transportation Agency together with elements of the TNI-Polri will carry out joint operations and prosecutions for transporters who remain stubborn.

"We are currently carrying out (supervision) at two points, namely in Caringin and Cimanceri. Currently we are dividing the three shifts, and the personnel we deploy are around 20 more, so this continues to rotate," explained Agus.

The new Perbup number 160 of 2023 concerning the operating hours of this special mining transportation replaces Perbup number 120 of 2021. The operating hours of special mining transportation vehicles which originally took effect at 20.00 WIB 05.00 WIB to 22.00 WIB 05.00 WIB.

Through this Perbup, the Bogor Regency Government adjusts operating hours in its area to those imposed by the Tangerang Regency Government, Banten, which is 22.00 WIB until 05.00 WIB.

Bogor Regent Iwan Setiawan in Cibinong, Bogor, Monday, revealed that changes in operating hours were made to the input of various parties, especially the community, in order to overcome the accumulation of mining trucks that residents often complained about.

"So far, the difference in the time lag is too late, in Tangerang it's open at 10 (night), now at 8 (night)," said Iwan.

According to Iwan, so far there has been too much time difference regarding the operating hours of mining trucks in Tangerang Regency and Bogor Regency. This condition is one of the causes of the buildup.
