DEPOK - The Indonesian Film Censorship Agency (LSF) has strengthened its commitment to protecting the public from the negative impact of film content. Through the National Movement for Independent Sensor Culture (GNBSM) program, LSF held a Nonton Bareng (Nobar) Indonesian Film event at the CGV D'Mall Depok Cinema on Tuesday (21/7/2026).
The activity, which took place from 10.00 to 13.30 WIB, was attended by 332 participants from students and local communities. Participants are expected to be agents of change in spreading awareness of the importance of sorting out entertainment according to age classification.

Chairman of Commission I of the Indonesian LSF, Tri Widyastuti Setyaningsih, reminded the importance of making age classification the main benchmark for families before going to the cinema.
"By following the age classification that has been set by LSF, the films watched will have a positive impact and contribution according to the level of maturity of the audience," explained Tri.

In addition to educating the audience, this activity also became a momentum to support local cinema works. BPI Chairman, Fauzan Zidni, emphasized BPI's commitment to continue to be a strategic partner of the government and a platform for professional associations and organizers of national film festivals such as the Indonesian Film Festival (FFI).
