BATURAJA - Police Resort (Polres) Ogan Komering Ulu (OKU) South Sumatra (Sumsel) is investigating the murder of a family, between in-laws and in-laws to find out the motive. OKU Police Chief AKBP Arif Harsono said the bloody tragedy that occurred in Batu Putih Village, West Baturaja District on Thursday morning that killed one person and two critical victims, is still a mystery. The police have not been able to explain in detail the exact cause of the incident. "Currently we are still investigating the motive for the murder incident," he said accompanied by Head of Public Relations AKP Budi Santoso in Baturaja, Antara, Friday, July 28. According to Arif, currently his party has dispatched a team of investigators, investigators, and a mitigation team to maintain security and order around the crime scene (TKP). "Currently we have summoned one witness, namely Sarkowi (35) who at the time of the incident ran away from the crime scene," he said. Previously, residents of Batu Putih Village, West Baturaja District, OKU Regency were shocked by a commotion between their in-laws, children and in-laws. When residents came to the scene, they found the three victims lying covered in blood. Elyan Farizon (45), his son-in-law died at the scene with gaping wounds on his face and machetes still attached to his neck, as well as seven stab wounds all over his body. Then, Tri Agustin (32) and his father Ermiadi (65) were in critical condition at the local hospital with stab wounds and 13 stab wounds each throughout his body.

Information circulating about the incident began when Tri Agustin, wife of Elyan, had a relationship with Sarkoni (35) who became another ideal man, causing a commotion. Tri's father then asked Sarkoni to run away from the house.
