Putri Candrawathi And Bharada E's Turn To Listen To The Prosecutor's Demands At The Trial Of Brigadier J Case Today

JAKARTA - Defendants Putri Candrawathi and Richard Elierzer alias Bharada E will undergo further trial in the alleged premeditated murder of Yosua alias Brigadier J today. They will listen to the demands of the public prosecutor (JPU).

"Today, the trial for the demands of the defendants Putri Candrawathi and Richard Eliezer," said the Public Relations Officer of the South Jakarta District Court, Wednesday, January 18.

Based on the Case Tracing Information System (SIPP) of the South Jakarta District Court (PN), Putri Candrawathi will undergo her first trial at 09.30 WIB. Then, continued with the trial for the defendant Bharada E.

In this case, Putri Candrawathi was charged with being involved in the series of murders of Brigadier J. She is said to have not prevented her husband's plan and reported it to law enforcement officials. In fact, she knew of the plan and murder of Brigadier J.

Meanwhile, Bharada E was charged with shooting Brigadier J with a Glock-17 rifle three to four times. The shooting took place at the official residence of the Police Complex, Duren Tiga, South Jakarta, on 8 July.

Then, before the shooting, Bharada E also participated in the planning. Because he agreed to Ferdy Sambo's order to execute Brigadier J.

With their respective roles, Putri Candrawathi and Bharada E allegedly violated Article 340 of the Criminal Code subsidiary 338 of the Criminal Code in conjunction with Article 55 paragraph 1 to (1). Thus, they face a maximum sentence of death penalty, life imprisonment or a maximum of 20 years.
