JAKARTA - PT Isuzu Astra Motor Indonesia (IAMI) utilizes the GAIKINDO Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS) 2026 to emphasize that commercial vehicles are no longer just a means of transportation. Through various products and collaborations on display, Isuzu shows that commercial vehicles can be productive assets that can support various business sectors, ranging from logistics, transportation, mining, plantations, to the creative industry.

President Director of PT Isuzu Astra Motor Indonesia Masayasu Hideshima, said that the needs of the business world continued to grow so that commercial vehicles were also required to have high flexibility in order to be able to follow the various business models that emerged.

"At GIIAS 2026, we want to show that Isuzu vehicles are not only a solution for logistics and transportation businesses, but can also be developed for various business sectors, including the creative industry which continues to grow in Indonesia," said Masayasu, at ICE BSD, Wednesday, July 29.

"The flexibility of Isuzu vehicles allows customers to bring business innovations according to their needs, so that vehicles are not only a means of transportation, but also a productive investment that supports business growth," he continued.

At this year's exhibition, Isuzu brought a number of vehicles that represent various industry needs. The Isuzu GIGA FVR is displayed as a heavy duty vehicle that has been developed into a Road Sweeper through collaboration with YMG Tech Mobility. Meanwhile, the Isuzu ELF NLR comes in the form of a campervan as a result of cooperation with Karoseri Delima Mandiri and travel content creator JAJAGO, which shows the potential of commercial vehicles in supporting the tourism sector as well as the digital content industry.

This concept shows how commercial vehicles can be transformed into mobile business vehicles that open up new opportunities for business actors, especially in the beauty industry and MSMEs.

Not only that, the Isuzu D-Max collaboration with SANA was also exhibited as a versatile vehicle designed to face off-road terrain as well as use in urban areas. In addition, the Isuzu New mu-X was introduced as a tough SUV that supports mobility in various road conditions.
