New Xforce HEV to be Mitsubishi's star at GIIAS 2026

JAKARTA - PT Mitsubishi Motors Krama Yudha Sales Indonesia (MMKSI) also participated in the GAIKINDO Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS) 2026, and brought its flagship model and New Xforce HEV. Located in Hall 10A, MMKSI invites the public to enjoy a more comprehensive experience in getting to know Mitsubishi Motors through the theme "Life's Adventure: Elevating Every Experience", which reflects Mitsubishi Motors' long journey in accompanying various phases of Indonesian people's lives as well as the commitment to continue to provide experiences that are increasingly relevant and valuable for customers. As one of the main attractions of this year's participation, MMKSI presents the Mitsubishi New Xforce which is available in two technology options, namely Internal Combustion Engine (ICE) and Hybrid Electric Vehicle (HEV), to provide more options that match the diverse needs and preferences of Indonesian customers. President Director of PT MMKSI, Atsushi Kurita, said Mitsubishi Motors' journey in Indonesia has always been characterized by the ability to adapt to changing community needs. "Today, we are entering the next phase with an increasingly complete product line, a wider choice of technology, and a stronger focus on customer experience. We believe the success of a brand is not only determined by the vehicles it presents, but also by the values and trust that continue to be built together with customers in the long term," he said, in his speech, at ICE BSD, Tangerang, Wednesday, July 29.

He further said that the presence of Mitsubishi New Xforce is one of the forms of commitment, as well as marking the evolution of Mitsubishi Motors' product line in Indonesia. "GIIAS 2026 is an opportunity for the public to experience firsthand how Mitsubishi Motors continues to grow to provide a better and more meaningful experience in every journey," he added. The presence of Mitsubishi New Xforce HEV also marks a new chapter for Mitsubishi Motors in Indonesia as the first Hybrid Electric Vehicle (HEV) produced locally by PT Mitsubishi Motors Krama Yudha Indonesia (MMKI) through a global standard manufacturing facility in Indonesia. With the start of production of this model, MMKI also strengthens its role as a production hub of Mitsubishi New Xforce HEV for the ASEAN region, as well as supporting Mitsubishi Motors' strategy to expand electrification.
