Travel Distance 1,200 Km, Find Out the Specifications of iCAR V27 that Will Be on Sale at GIIAS 2026

JAKARTA - iCAR Indonesia officially introduced its latest model, iCAR V27, at the GAIKINDO Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS) 2026. The presence of this SUV is the brand's next step in strengthening the electrification vehicle line in Indonesia after previously presenting iCAR V23.

iCAR presents the V27 with Golden Range Extended Electric Vehicle (REEV) technology. This model complements iCAR's New Energy Vehicle (NEV) lineup and offers a new alternative for consumers who want an electric vehicle with a longer cruising range.

Carrying the philosophy of "Classic Never Fades", iCAR V27 combines a boxy SUV design inspired by classic vehicles with modern electrification technology. The concept presents an iconic SUV character without losing a touch of innovation, so it remains relevant to today's vehicle developments.

"After introducing iCAR V23 as a Battery Electric Vehicle (BEV), today we are taking a step further by presenting iCAR V27 equipped with Golden REEV technology. The presence of V27 strengthens our commitment as a vehicle brand with renewable energy that offers an increasingly complete choice of electrification technology for Indonesian consumers," said Country Director of iCAR Indonesia Marshall Ma at ICE BSD, Wednesday, July 29.

In terms of dimensions, the iCAR V27 comes as a large-sized SUV with a length of 5,045 mm, a width of 1,976 mm, a height of 1,894 mm, and a wheelbase of 2,900 mm. The exterior appearance is strengthened with 21-inch dual-tone wheels, heritage-style lights, roof rails, and full-size spare tires placed on the back door to emphasize its adventurous character.

Behind the design, this SUV relies on Golden REEV Technology which combines the driving experience of an electric car with the flexibility of a power plant-powered vehicle. The system allows the car to travel about 200 kilometers in pure electric mode.

Meanwhile, the total cruising range is claimed to exceed 1,200 kilometers thanks to the 1.5-liter turbo engine as a range extender with a thermal efficiency of 45.79 percent. For performance, the iCAR V27 is equipped with a Three-Motor True Electric AWD system consisting of a P1 motor generator, P3 front motor, and P4 rear motor.

The combination produces up to 335 kW or the equivalent of 455 PS with a peak torque of 505 Nm. Acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h is claimed to be achieved in 5.9 seconds. Its driving ability is also supported by more than nine driving modes, including ECO, Comfort, Sport, Individual, All-Terrain, Slippery, Mud, Loose, and Uneven.

The various modes are designed so that the vehicle is able to provide optimal performance in various road conditions without reducing comfort and efficiency. According to Marshall, Indonesia is one of iCAR's main markets globally so that the company will continue to expand its portfolio of new energy vehicles that meet the needs of consumers in the country.

Through the launch of iCAR V27 at GIIAS 2026, iCAR further confirms its commitment to presenting a more diverse choice of electrified vehicles. Together with iCAR V23 which carries the Battery Electric Vehicle (BEV) technology, the presence of V27 with the Range Extended Electric Vehicle (REEV) system is expected to provide a more flexible mobility solution for Indonesian consumers, both for daily use and long-distance travel.
