KPK Explores Communication Related To The Management Of Tabanan Regency Regional Incentive Funds

JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) continues to investigate allegations of corruption in the administration of the Regional Incentive Fund (DID) in Tabanan Regency, Bali. Most recently, investigators are exploring the communication that was carried out in the management process.

This deepening was carried out by examining the former Head of the Research and Development Planning Agency (Bappelitbang) of Tabanan Regency, Ida Bagus Wiratmaja. This inspection was carried out on Monday, December 6 yesterday.

In addition, investigators are also investigating a number of things against Ida, including the process for applying for incentive funds and the evidence found.

"The person concerned was present and confirmed, among other things, regarding the submission of the DID fund proposal, the alleged existence of certain communications, as well as being confirmed regarding some evidence related to the case," said Acting KPK Spokesperson for Enforcement Sector Ali Fikri to reporters, Tuesday, December 7.

In fact, the KPK will examine another witness, namely the Head of the Non-Physical Special Allocation Fund Section of the Directorate General of Fiscal Balance at the Ministry of Finance, Rifa Surya. However, he was not present and asked for rescheduling on Wednesday, December 8.

As previously reported, the Corruption Eradication Commission admitted that it was conducting an investigation related to alleged criminal acts related to the process of administering incentive funds in Tabanan Regency, Bali.

Investigators have even conducted searches in a number of locations such as the PUPR office, Bappelitbang, Tabanan Regional Finance Agency, DPRD, as well as the residences of parties related to the case.

Although it has admitted that it is investigating the alleged bribery, the Corruption Eradication Commission has not disclosed the suspects and the modus operandi. The complete information on the results of this investigation will be conveyed in its entirety if there is sufficient evidence and forced detention efforts are made.
