JAKARTA - The Head of the Operations Section (KBO) of the Metro Jaya Police of Traffic Directorate, AKBP Karosekali, became a victim of beatings while securing a demonstration at the Indonesian Parliament Building, Jakarta.

"During the demonstration, one member of the National Police on behalf of AKBP Karoskali from the Metro Jaya Police of Traffic Directorate suffered a serious wound (torn) on the back of the head. As a result of the attack carried out by members of the mass organization that carried out the demonstration", said Head of Public Relations of the Metro Jaya Police, Kombes Pol E. Zulfan, to VOI in the courtyard of the Indonesian Parliament Building, Thursday, November 25, afternoon.

Currently, the injured members of the Police have been taken to the Kramat Jati Police Hospital, East Jakarta. The victim is undergoing treatment.

"We will carry out legal proceedings against the attacker", he said.

Metro Jaya Police, he continued, will take firm action against the person in charge of the demonstration to be held accountable for the perpetrators who attacked the police.
