JAKARTA - K-pop idol group Bangtan Sonyeondan (BTS) was included in four nominations for the Billboard Music Awards (BMA) 2021, setting a new record for them at the event.
As Soompi proclaimed, for the third consecutive year, BTS competed for the Top Duo/Group award, which they won in 2019, and the Top Social Artist award, which they have won for four consecutive years.
This year, BTS is also nominated for the Top Song Sales Artist award and the Top Selling Song award (for the song Dynamite).
BMA 2021 nominations are not just for BTS. Their colleagues BLACKPINK and SEVENTEEN received their first Billboard Music Awards nominations this year. The two groups are both included in the Top Social Artist category, competing with BTS, Ariana Grande, and SB19.
