JAKARTA - The vocal group that grew from the internet culture, New Pusat Dunia (NPD), is preparing to greet its listeners directly through a series of performances titled "NPD World Tour".
Collaborating with Antara Suara promoters, the tour which is scheduled to take place from July 23 to 26, 2026, carries a lightning concept by visiting dozens of points in the Jabodetabek region to West Java in just three days.
This step was taken as a continuation of the success of their debut single, "Sempurnanya Aku", which had previously gone viral on various digital platforms.
Through this tour, NPD wants to break down the digital space barrier in order to build real interaction with their fan base which is dominated by the younger generation.
Antara Suara's Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Andri Verraning Ayu, said that the comparative tour concept was deliberately designed to follow the shift in trends in how audiences enjoy a musical performance. According to him, a large music group from a digital ecosystem such as NPD needs a more liquid and flexible space to communicate with its listeners.
"A more fluid tour approach is important for a music group that grows from digital conversations. NPD was born from a space that is very close to today's internet culture and public conversations. Therefore, we also designed our tour approach to be more open, closer to the audience, and can reach them in spaces that have always been part of everyday life," said Andri Verraning Ayu in his statement, Wednesday, July 8.
Throughout the three days of exploration, NPD targets to be able to capture around 3,000 audiences in 12 different points. Instead of choosing a conventional performance building that is rigid, the promoter instead targets public areas that are attached to the mobility of urban communities, such as crowded centers, communal areas, to mass transit transit points.
The format presented is also unique, combining public shows and unplanned shows in the In Real Life (IRL) live stream roadshow scheme.
Later, each point will be filled with a performance lasting about 30 minutes that will bring the song "Sempurnanya Aku", a remix version, as well as a surprise collaboration with local local figures.
One of the NPD personnel, Mario Caesar, added that this agenda is a crucial momentum for his group to witness the impact of their work in the real world, after a long time only monitoring statistics on social media.
"So far, many people have known NPD through the internet. This tour is an opportunity for us to meet in person, see their response up close, and bring the experience of listening to songs to a more tangible space," concluded Mario.
