Getting Closer To The New Album, Feby Putri Introduces A Single Titled Duration

JAKARTA - Feby Putri is getting closer to the release of the latest album with the title 'Hitam Putih'. The song titled 'Duration' was also introduced as the second single for the second full album.

Collaborating with the Airship, Feby made 'Duration' an in-depth reminder for migrants to always take the time to return to their hometowns.

Meanwhile, this song tells the story of the emotion of an immigrant who returns home and finds significant changes to his family, especially the iby.

Through a poetic lyric approach and touching melody, the 24-year-old singer tries to describe the longing and regret that are often felt by those far from home.

Feby wrote the composition and lyrics himself, which Lafa Pratomo then assisted the production process.

"This song was inspired by my personal experience and many people around me have migrated," said Feby Putri in her statement, Tuesday, August 27.

"I want to remind you the importance of family and moments with them. Don't let us regret when time no longer allows us to meet," he continued.

One thing that is interesting about this song is the use of Makassar lyrics, "Punna tena kisipainga'motere' ri boritta" which means "when we don't remind each other to return to our village."

This lyrics is presented to further enrich the meaning of songs and make them feel more personal. That way, Feby hopes that "Direct" can touch the hearts of listeners and inspire them to return to their hometowns more often.

"I want this song to serve as a reminder for migrants to always set aside time and money to go home. Don't let us lose the valuable opportunity to gather with family," he said.
