5,046 Songs Registered For 'Fighting' At AMI Awards 2024

JAKARTA - The online registration process for the 2024 Indonesian Music Award (AMI) ended last July. It is known that more than five thousand songs were registered for this year.

The 'Online Entry Process' of AMI 2024 which was closed on July 6, 2024. The number of entry entered increased from the previous year to 5,046 songs," reads the caption for the upload of the AMI Awards Instagram, Monday, August 12.

Meanwhile, the number of songs registered in AMI 2023 is 4,858, which means this year there are 188 more songs than last year.

After the registration period ended, AMI explained that the songs entered the stage of the Kategorization Session which is currently underway.

Five thousand forty-six songs have also entered the next stage, namely the Negotiation Session. All songs have been listened to by Team Session of AMI Category and have been included in the right music genre of all the songs.

Soon to enter the next stage, the voting by the first stage of the AMI members will determine who will be nominated this year.

For information, there are 62 categories presented at the AMI 2023 event.

Isyana Sarasvati through the album ISYANA is lined up to be the winner in the Best Album category. The 30-year-old singer also won in the category of Best Solo Rock/Instrumental Rock.

Meanwhile, Aruma through the song Muak which was released on September 30, 2022, became the winner in the Best Newcomer category.

Then, the collaboration of Diskoria, Laleilmanino, and Bunga Citra Lestari through Badai Has Passed to become winners in the Best Production Work category.
