JAKARTA - Frank Ocean has stepped down from the Coachella stage for the second week which will be held on Sunday, April 23. Reportedly this position will be replaced by the band Blink-182 which had appeared at last week's event.

Frank Ocean's agency, Huxley released a statement regarding Frank Ocean's resignation. This is related to the knee injury he experienced before his appearance.

"Frank Ocean will not appear in the second week of Coachella," Huxley quoted NME as saying today, Thursday, April 20.

After suffering a knee injury in the first week, Frank Ocean was unable to perform as desired, but he still intends to perform and at 72 hours, the show has to be done again as needed, "explained the agency.

Then the doctor advised Frank Ocean to rest, so he could not appear as a headliner in the second week.

"Based on the doctor's advice, Frank Ocean could not appear in the second week due to fractures and injuries to his left leg," they said.

The singer also released a statement saying, 'It's chaotic. There's some beauty in the chaos. That's not what I want to show but I enjoy being out there and see you again.'

Frank Ocean's appearance at Coachella 2023 was a surprise as well as a result of criticism. The stage is highly anticipated for the first time after six years of being considered the beginning of some stage chaos.

The stage production team changed the set a few days before appearance because it adjusted to Frank Ocean's health condition. Initially he planned a skater walking in the ice arena which was made specifically for the stage but changed.

Hours before appearance, the organizers announced the Frank Ocean stage was not broadcast live on YouTube like any other artist. This makes fans and netizens furious on social media.

Frank Ocean also cut his form after being told he was running out of time.
