JAKARTA - Suzuki has released the V-Storm 800RE to expand the adventure-style motorcycle segment, which also complements the V-Storm series as a formidable bike.
Compared to his brothers and sisters, V-Storm 800RE offers more reliable capabilities to drive on the highway, so this bike is the ideal choice for long-distance travel.
Launching from the official website of Suzuki, Friday, October 6, this adventurous motor uses the same steel main frame as other variants in the V-Storm series, which provides a balance between stability while driving straight and responsive control.
The bike is equipped with a 19-inch aluminum rim on the front and 17 inches on the back, which is equipped with a tubeless Dunlop tire. This means this latest model uses smaller tires compared to the previous version.
In addition, the leg system is equipped with a Showa suspension that prioritizes performance on the highway. The front suspension, which is upside down with a 150 mm journey in front and back, can be adjusted, giving optimal grip when traveling on the highway. The braking system uses a four-piston river from Nissin.
The 800RE V-Storm has a seating as high as 825mm, with an aluminum-coated footrest and a footrest positioned 14mm more backward, as well as an ergonomically designed aluminum handlebar.
This bike is equipped with a 5-inch TFT screen in the middle of the handlebar that displays up-to-date information about the vehicle. The navigation system and other features can be accessed via a simple and easy-to-use button on the left handlebar.
The bright and clear screen displays all the information needed by motorists, including a three-mode: Active, Basic, and Comfort control system setup. Each mode offers a different driving style.
To increase the convenience of motorists, Suzuki provides a shuttle ride-by-wire and two-way quickshifter system according to the standard, which is combined with a slipper cluster to produce smoother dental changes.
Suzuki also supplies the latest 776cc twin parallel machines for the 800RE V-Storm, which generates up to 84.3 ps of power and 78 Nm of torque.
