JAKARTA - Tariq Halilintar emphasized that he did not intend to forgive the reported person who allegedly slandered his wife, Aaliyah Massaid, pregnant outside of marriage.

He wants this case to continue even though later the reported person will apologize to them.

"(Even though I'm sorry) everything must continue," said Tariq Halilintar after an examination at Polda Metro Jaya, Central Jakarta, Friday, August 30.

Aaliyah also has the same opinion. He felt that every wrong act had to be straightened out in accordance with existing regulations.

For him, this report is also a lesson for others to be wiser in conveying information.

"Because everything has regulations. So that's the reason why it was also reported, for lessons too, in the future it is more careful, wanting to make news there must be facts," added Aaliyah Massaid.

Tariq admitted that he encouraged Aaliyah to make a report related to this case. He feels that as a husband he has a responsibility to protect his wife from fake news.

"The real thing that was noisy since yesterday was her husband or me because of course my obligation as a husband, one of which was to protect my wife no matter what, one of which was fake news that brought down her honor," he said.

Previously, the Head of Public Relations of the Polda Metro Jaya Ade Ary confirmed that Aaliyah Massaid had reported three social media accounts from TikTok and YouTube to Polda Metro Jaya.

This report was made on August 22 yesterday under the article of defamation.

"It is true that on August 22, Polda Metro Jaya received a police report from sister AM (Aaliyah Massaid) reporting allegations of defamation through electronic media as regulated in article 27 a 45 paragraph 4 and/or article 310 311 of the Criminal Code and/or article 315 of the Criminal Code," added Ade Ary.
