JAKARTA - The pair of candidates for Governor and Deputy Governor of Banten, Andra Soni and Dimyati Natakusumah were observed to outperform Airin Rachmi Diany-Ade Sumardi in the latest quick count conducted by a number of survey institutions.

The daily chairman of the Gerindra Party DPP, Sufmi Dasco Ahmad, assessed that the superior pair Andra Soni-Dimyati from Airin-Ade was thanks to the hard work of the entire winning team. In addition, according to him, public interest in Andra-Dimyati's candidacy is also quite large.

"Yes, I think what happened in many regions, including in Banten, was the result of the hard work of the candidates who were promoted in the regional elections and also supporting parties, as well as volunteer organs of course," said Dasco at the Parliament Complex, Senayan, Jakarta, Thursday, November 28.

"And specifically in Banten, I see that the hard work done was quite intense and also then the public interest in candidate leaders who were nominated was also large," he continued.

Launching from the results of Charta Politica's quick calculation on Thursday, November 28 at 10.35 WIB, the total votes that came in had reached 100 percent.

Through this total vote, candidate pair Andra Soni-Dimyati Natakusumah managed to excel from candidate pair Airin Rachmi Diany-Ade Sumardi.

Andra-Dimyati are ahead with 57.52 percent. Meanwhile, Airin-Ade received the latest votes of around 42.48 percent.

For information, the results of the 2024 Pilkada quick count are not yet the final decision to determine the winner of the election.
