JAKARTA Indonesia has great potential in the art world, especially from the younger generation. Understanding the importance of providing a platform for young artists to develop their potential, for the heARTS organization (FTHO), a supporting organization for young Indonesian artists, is proud to host the Canvas of Dreams, an art celebration event that will be held on August 24-25, 2024 at Chillax Sudirman, Jakarta.

Canvas of Dreams is here as a forum for young artists to showcase their works, inspire communities, as well as become a way for them to directly contribute to art developments in Indonesia. This event will feature a variety of works of art from 24 young artists aged 12-30 years, exploring various styles, medium, and cultural influences.

In addition to exhibitions, this event will also present art workshops, talk shows with well-known Indonesian artists, as well as Arts Auction to support the development of the art community. Audrey Kurniawan, a young artist as well as Founder for the heARTS organization said that his party wants to create a platform for young artists to be creative, collaborate, and get recognition. Not only that, the income from this event will be used to support art development programs for the younger generation of Indonesia.

Canvas of Dreams is ready to provide space for a total of 24 young artists, held at the Hall Communication Space, Chillax Sudirman, Jakarta. Of course, this event is not only held for art connoisseurs, but all types of people can participate, free entry.

One of the young artists who participated in displaying his work on the Canvas of Dreams is Cleo Audrea Sunaryo. This 16-year-old girl is known for her own style, playing a more playful texture and with a more lively color palette. Through the talent she has developed since she was 4 years old, Cleo wants to present works of art that can invite art connoisseurs to feel the beauty of her imaginative world. More than just an art show, Canvas of Dreams is designed as a platform for young artists to interact with the public and art connoisseurs, share stories behind their work, and get decent appreciation. We also hold an interesting art workshop, guided by experienced artists, to provide participants with the opportunity to develop their skills, "explained Audrey.

Canvas of Dreams also presents an interesting talk show session with Intan Anggita Pratiwie, the co-founder of Setali Indonesia who is better known as a recycling artist and fully supports sustainable fashion. Together with Muklay (Muchlis Fachri) who is also a well-known seminal visual, both are ready to provide inspirational material related to their journey so that they can present interesting works on a global scale.

In addition, visitors can also participate in various attractive workshops that can not only develop creativity, but can also be art therapy to maintain mental health. Namely through an acrylic pour workshop with Alia Affandi from Pourvor, texetyls art workshop with Seratan Studio, as well as the tumbler painting collaboration of FTHO with Selekta.

Through the Canvas of Dreams, for the division, organizations want to foster creativity as well as inspire the community, as well as provide opportunities for them to give back, both to young artists who open up opportunities to auction their works, as well as for the future of the Indonesian arts community. The work of 9 young artists, namely Cleo Audrea Sunaryo, Nadya Emily Surya, Asskia Esa Aulia, Biyan Fadila Umar, Feodor Evie Pranata, Nadine Fave, Denny Nugraha, Anindya Khairinnisa, Filbert Marciano Brentan - will be auctioned to the public. The results of this auction, will be donated as a form of support from FTHO together with young artists to share with those in need, under the auspices of the Berhiti Mandiri Bersinar Foundation. More just from donations, however, FTHO will dive directly to share art science and inspiration through learning art classes to children at this social foundation.

The Canvas of Dreams event will be held at the Communication Space Hall, Chillax Sudirman, Jakarta on August 24-25, 2024, starting at 10.00-20.30 WIB, and is free entry.
