Cinta Laura Kiehl Invites Young People To Manage Water

JAKARTA - Cinta Laura Kiehl was appointed as the 10th Communication Ambassador of the World Water Forum. The choice of Cinta Laura as a communication ambassador is expected to attract millennials and Generation Z, in disseminating various information about the World Water Forum.

"This is an important event, because it is time for us to socialize especially to young people about the importance of managing water so that everyone, not only in Indonesia but in the world, can have access to proper water sources," explained Cinta Laura at the Music Concert entitled Mari Ngabuburit Ahead of the 10th World Water Forum at Anjungan Sarinah, Jakarta, March 27.

As the 10th Communication Ambassador World Water Forum, Cinta Laura has the task of inviting the younger generation in particular to contribute and care about issues about water as well as the environment. The presence of Cinta Laura and her commitments to environmental issues are expected to ignite enthusiasm and be an inspiration for the younger generation in overcoming the global water crisis.

There are so many small things we can do to contribute to reducing water pollution. For example, don't waste water because there are so many of our friends out there who don't have access to proper clean water," he said.

The presence of Cinta Laura at the event was her first opportunity to appear in public as the 10th Communication Ambassador of the World Water Forum. Other daily activities such as washing soap or determinants, if not done properly, can actually potentially pollute the environment. Cinta Laura said, we need to be more careful in choosing soap with a more environmentally friendly content and not pollute the water sources used by the community.

"Finally, don't take too long. Don't because we want to feel fresher or confused, then finally take a long shower and throw away a lot of water. Let's take care of our water," he urged.

Figures who are busy as actresses, singers, and are active in various social activists, including this environmental issue, also invite the younger generation to use social media as a tool in spreading knowledge about maintaining water sustainability.

This year, the 10th World Water Forum will be held in Bali on May 18-25, 2024.
