Kevin On Releases American Citizenship, Gong Hyo Jin's Husband Chooses Military Mandatory

JAKARTA - Singer Kevin Oh who is also the husband of actress Gong Hyo Jin left for military service. This news was shared by his agency, T Cask ENT, today, Tuesday, January 2 which said the musician had departed since last December.

Hello, this is Kevin Oh T Cask ENT's agency. We would like to announce news of Kevin Oh's military service to fans who support and love him," the agency said.

To expand music activities in Korea and form a stable family with his wife in Korea, Kevin Oh left for military service, he continued.

Kevin Oh released his citizenship as a citizen of the United States and chose to go to South Korea. Therefore, he is required to undergo military service even though he is 34 years old, which is four years from the registration limit.

"Thanks to Korea, he was able to build his musical life and he expressed his opinion that he wanted to continue making music for fans after his military service," the agency said.

"Kevin Oh left a message and hoped that everyone who knew him could be physically and mentally healthy as he departed last December," he said.

The agency said this mandatory military step was taken as a form of fulfilling the responsibility to the country.

"Please support and love Kevin Oh until he is discharged from military service. Our agency will support the artist so that Kevin Oh can return after serving in the military and continue to give good music," concluded the agency.
