Im Yoon Ah And Lee Jun Ho Reveal Reasons For Selecting The Drama King The Land

JAKARTA - Im Yoon Ah SNSD and Lee Jun Ho 2PM were met in an acting project entitled King the Land. This drama is their latest work after the two of them became presenters on year-end music shows on a television station.

On the other hand, their involvement through this drama may surprise many people. The reason is that previously they chose a drama project with an action genre or serious.

Im Yoon Ah last acted through Big Mouth, an action drama with Lee Jong Suk while Lee Jun Ho amazed the audience through The Red Sleeve.

This is like a classic romantic comedy. This is the first time I've tried. I want to try something fun," said Im Yoon Ah quoting Hello K-pop.

Lee Jun Ho also agreed to Yoon Ah's statement. After several times playing in a serious genre, he wanted to act in a fun title.

Just like Yoon Ah said, I want a light story. I want to do something warm and fun," added Lee Jun Ho.

These two actors also tried out the role of a hotelier for the first time. They struggle on how they can bring characters and viewers to life when they connect with their characters.

"Looking at Sarang's attitude that is always smiling, I think 'Can I be like this' rather than playing it safe with my role, I try to empathize with his character. I write notes about Sarang's feelings and resonate with Gu Won," Yoon Ah said.

"I think the love that the characters share is a feeling that can be felt. I think the story has emotions that can be felt closely," said Lee Jun Ho.

King the Land tells the story of Gu Won (Lee Jun Ho), the heir to the King hotel who doesn't like pleasantries and fake smiles. The cheerful presence of Cheon Sa Rang (Lim Yoon A) makes him even more disliked Sa Rang.

Cheon Sa Rang, who works at the King's hotel, is facing a lot of problems but he is trying to smile. Slowly Gu Won and Cheon Sa Rang are getting close and their romantic relationship begins. King the Land premiered on June 17 and can be watched on Netflix.
