Supporting Kebaya Goes To UNESCO, State-Owned Company ID FOOD Officers Wears Kebaya Once A Week

JAKARTA - Food BUMN ID FOOD group supports the kebaya goes to UNESCO movement. Director of Human Resources for Food Holding ID FOOD Endang Suraningsih kebaya as part of ID FOOD's work attire in the office environment worn by ID FOOD Group employees.

"We make the kebaya dress as part of ID FOOD, one day in 5 working days every ID FOOD employee wears a kebaya at the office," explained Endang, Monday, November 7.

Endang continued that the kebaya is a cultural heritage from our ancestors that must be preserved, therefore every female ID FOOD member preserves it by wearing a kebaya.

In addition to other contributions in supporting the kebaya culture, ID FOOD through the Srikandi Pangan community participated in enlivening the Nusantara Cultural Parade in Sarinah, Sunday, November 6.

The activity, which was held by the BNPT (National Counter Terrorism Agency) was attended by tens of thousands of women in kebaya from institutions, communities, and women's organizations in Indonesia.

Food SOE ID FOOD through Srikandi Pangan joins the kebaya line as a form of contribution in preserving the culture of the Nusantara.

Head of BNPT, Komjen Pol. Boy Rafli Amar in his official statement said the kebaya culture is a national cultural identity. By being appointed or carried, it is hoped that the kebaya will again develop into a characteristic of Indonesian fashion. It is hoped that the kebaya can be designated as the official dress of Indonesia by UNESCO.
