JAKARTA - President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) is targeting state revenues in the 2025 State Revenue and Expenditure Budget Draft (APBN) of IDR 2,996.9 trillion.

The target will be carried out by the Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming Raka government.

"The state revenue in 2025 is designed at IDR 2,996.9 trillion," he said in a speech delivering the 2025 RAPBN and Financial Notes, at the DPR Building, Jakarta, Friday, August 16.

Jokowi said the state revenue target consisted of tax revenues of Rp2,490.9 trillion and Non-Tax State Revenue (PNBP) of Rp505.4 trillion.

"By maintaining an investment climate and environmental sustainability and affordability of public services," he said.

This target, he said, would be obtained by continuing tax reform through the expansion of the tax base and increasing taxpayer compliance, improving tax governance and administration, as well as providing targeted and measurable tax incentives.

"Efforts to increase PNBP continue to be carried out through the use of technology for planning and reporting, strengthening governance and supervision, optimizing the management of state assets and natural resources, and encouraging service innovation," he explained.

Jokowi added that the 2025 budget deficit is planned at 2.53 percent of GDP or IDR 616.2 trillion which will be financed by utilizing safe and carefully managed financing sources.
