Anticipating Lebaran Homecoming, Sales OfPORT Tickets Extended

KCIC anticipates a significant increase in the number ofPORT passengers during the Lebaran 2025 holiday period (doc. KCIC).

JAKARTA - In order to make it easier for the public to plan trips during the Eid holiday period, sales of hotel tickets are now being extended and can be ordered earlier from D-25 before the scheduled departure.

Previously, this high-speed train ticket could only be booked from D-14 before departure.

"People who make purchases on the same day as the departure schedule to pay attention to the online ticket purchases can be made up to 30 minutes before departure via online channels."

"For offline purchases, they can be made at the station counter and crossing machine up to 15 minutes before departure," said KCIC General Manager Corporate Secretary, Eva Chairunisa, in a statement, Saturday, March 15, 2025.

Eva said, the trend of buyingASH tickets shows that about 85 percent of passengers buy tickets on the day of departure.

Therefore, during this Lebaran holiday, the public is advised to plan an earlier trip and purchase tickets online.

Of course, this aims to avoid the risk of running out of tickets. In addition, specifically for transactions through the RIGHTsh application and the official ticket.kcic.co.id website, there is convenience of refunds (refunds) and reschedule online so that travel becomes more flexible.

KCIC also provides 808,946 seats in 1,346ASH trips during the Eid 2025 transportation period.

This capacity increase is carried out to anticipate a surge in the number of passengers, especially on favorite dates that are predicted to occur on April 5 or D+2 Lebaran.

KCIC has also anticipated an increase in the number of passengers expected to occur since March 21, 2025, along with the start of the school holidays and the work from anywhere (WFA) policy implemented by the Government.

In terms of travel security and safety, KCIC has assigned 530 security officers spread across all stations and train lines. These officers are a combination of KCIC, TNI, and Polri internal security personnel.

In addition, KCIC also assigns as many as 688 service officers, including Passenger Service Mobile, who are ready to assist passenger services at various taxi stations.
