Together With BNP Paribas AM, Hana Bank Expands Fund Mutual Investment Options

PT Bank KEB Hana Indonesia (Hana Bank) is expanding its investment portfolio for customers by cooperating with an investment manager company, PT BNP Paribas Asset Management (BNP Paribas AM).

Through this collaboration, Hana Bank is a distribution partner for nine superior mutual fund products of PT BNP Paribas AM which can provide more choices for customers to achieve investment goals.

The nine mutual fund products include mutual money from the money market, mutual income funds, and mutual stock funds, both investing in the domestic market to the global market.

Hana Bank's Business Director, Geoffry Nugraha, said that the additional choice of mutual fund products for customers is in line with one of Hana Bank's strategies to strengthen the 'wealth management' business, namely by focusing on building a business in mutual fund products.

"We welcome strategic collaboration with PT BNP Paribas AM which has a portfolio of various mutual fund products, so it is hoped that it can help customers achieve optimal investment results that can be adjusted to their risk profile," he quoted Antara as saying.

According to him, until the fourth quarter of 2024, Hana Bank's Asset Under Management (AUM) grew 14 percent. Along with the increase in AUM, "fee-based income" from "wealth management" grew 34 percent.

Geoffry explained that currently, more and more Indonesians understand the importance of investing through mutual funds because they offer a number of benefits, including managed by professionals, profits and dividends obtained, not being a tax object, high liquidity, transparency, and starting from a small nominal.

Meanwhile, President Director of PT BNP Paribas AM, Maya Kamdani, said that customers have more investment options in accordance with their respective risk profiles. This partnership can encourage the growth of the mutual fund industry in Indonesia.
