JAKARTA - Minister of Finance (Menkeu) Sri Mulyani asked the Directorate General of Customs and Excise (DJBC) to continue to improve services amid the many cases involving the agency.
Sri Mulyani conveyed that the cases included the case of sending shoes that were subject to import duties of up to Rp31 million and a similar action figure (robotic), namely complaints about the imposition of import duties and taxes.
In addition, related to the problem of shipping goods to the Extraordinary School (SLB). Where, the imported goods in the form of a keyboard of 20 pieces were previously notified as goods sent by PJT on December 18, 2022.

Sri Mulyani said that she asked Customs and Excise to continue to improve services and proactively provide education to the public about policies from various Ministries or Institutions (K/L) that must be carried out by Customs and Excise according to the mandate of the Law, namely as border protection, revenue collectors, trade facilities, and industrial assistance.
In addition, Sri Mulyani also asked Customs and Excise to cooperate with relevant stakeholders so that in the service and handling of problems in the field it can run quickly, precisely, effectively so as to provide certainty to the community.
