MJAKARTA - BPJS Ketenagakerjaan (BPJamsostek) Jakarta Cilincing Branch Office in collaboration with the Indonesian Red Cross (PMI) North Jakarta City held blood donor activities as well as socializing benefits and employment social security programs.
The activity which took place on 27-28 March 2024, BPJamsostek Cilincing also established a special booth as a facility for visitors to obtain information or register as participants.
"We deliberately carry out this activity to target workers, both formal and informal, or non-wage recipients (BPU). Hopefully, they will be educated about the importance of social security and want to register," said Head of BPJamsostek Cilincing, Haryani Rotua Melasari.
Haryani said that BPJS Ketenagakerjaan is currently intensifying protection for informal workers to pursue the protection target for 70 million active participants in 2026.
Therefore, said Ani, Haryani Rotua Melasai's nickname, massive socialization and education continue to be carried out, especially for informal workers or BPU whose membership level still needs to be improved.
'Informal workers such as farmers, fishermen, online motorcycle taxi drivers, and traders, are categorized as workers with high risk and have the same rights as wage workers (PU) in obtaining Employment Social Security Protection," said Ani.
