In Addition To The Provincial Government, A Series Of District/City Governments In East Java Will Receive Tens Of Billions Of Dividends From Bank Jatim

JAKARTA - PT Bank Pembangunan Daerah Jawa Timur Tbk (BJTM) or Bank Jatim, plans to distribute 51.37 percent of its net profit in 2021 as dividends to shareholders. The total value is IDR 782.46 billion.

Citing information from Bank Jatim, Monday, March 21, this amount is equivalent to IDR 52.11 per share.

Of that amount, the East Java provincial government will get IDR 400.07 billion. This figure is part of the East Java Provincial Government's share ownership in Bank Jatim which is 51.13 percent as of December 31, 2021.

In addition to the East Java Provincial Government, it turns out that there are a number of district/city governments in East Java that will also receive the Bank Jatim dividend.

From the list of shareholders of Bank Jatim as of December 31, 2021, the three major district/city governments are Sidoarjo, Surabaya, and Bojonegoro.

The Sidoarjo Regency Government owns 2.47 percent of Bank Jatim shares, so it can get a dividend of IDR 19.33 billion. Meanwhile, the Surabaya City Government with 2.13 percent share ownership is entitled to a dividend of IDR 16.67 billion.

The Bojonegoro Regency Government with 2 percent ownership of Bank Jatim shares can reap dividends of IDR 15.65 billion.

From the existing list, the total ownership of the East Java Provincial Government with the district/city governments in East Java reaches 79.48 percent. So that the dividends that will flow can reach IDR 621.89 billion.

That way, Bank Jatim's dividend portion for the community with a total ownership of 20.46 percent, the remaining IDR 160.09 billion.

As additional information, Bank Jatim will pay the dividend on April 14, 2022 to registered shareholders on March 29, 2022 at 16:00 western Indonesia time.
