Freestyle Motorist Died In Makassar, Hit By A Truck

MAKASSAR - A young motorist who acted freestyle in Makassar, South Sulawesi, died in an accident. His motorbike collided with a truck.

Head of Makassar Sub-division for Public Relations, Police Commissioner Edy Supriady, said the accident occurred on Sunday, March 21 at Tamangapa Raya Street, Manggala, Makassar.

"Killed with head injuries as a result of a collision with a truck," said Police Commissioner Edy to reporters, Monday, March 22.

He said that freestyle action, including wild racing, would certainly endanger other road users as well.

In Makassar City, many motorists often perform standing. The police warned the motorcyclists to no longer freestyle on the streets.

"Our warning is still the best, for two-wheeled riders who often do such actions, so that they no longer do this and endanger other road users. If they are found doing this, the police will carry out a numbering process," said Police Commissioner Edy.
