The Bodies Of Four Victims Of Mbah Slamet Banjarnegara Are Still Mysterious
SEMARANG The police are still trying to reveal the identities of a number of victims of Tohari alias Mbah Slamet in Banjarnegara. Of the 12 victims who were found, only eight had their identities identified and their bodies had been taken by their families.
"Of the 12 victims, eight have been taken by the family. Ante mortem data has been matched with the family. And declared correct. So the identity is quite valid," said Head of Public Relations of the Central Java Police, Kombes M Iqbal Alqudusy in a written statement, Wednesday, April 26.
Iqbal explained that the identities of the eight people whose families had taken, namely, one body from Sukabumi on behalf of Paryanto, two bodies from Lampung on behalf of Irsad and Wahyu Triningsih, two bodies from Magelang on behalf of Theresia and Okta Ali Abrianto, one body from Palembang on behalf of Mulyadi Pratama and two bodies from Lampung on behalf of Suheri and Riani.
"So currently there are still four bodies whose identities have not been identified. Of the 22 residents who reported the loss of their families, the data is still not suitable for the identification results of the four bodies," he said.
The four bodies were identified by the Central Java Police DVI team, said Iqbal, and were buried again at the Balun Village cemetery, Wanayasa District, Banjarnegara Regency.

"Then there is a reporter named Sugeng who reported the loss of a family named Strong Santoso. He has been taken a DNA test and is currently waiting for the DNA test results to be matched with the DNA of one of the victims' bodies found," he said.
Iqbal added that currently the Banjarnegara Police are still opening the post for reporting missing persons and ante mortem services.
"So far, 22 people have reported missing families. Meanwhile, the total number of people who were reported missing was 28 because there were six reporters who claimed to have lost two family members. We hope that this case will be resolved soon and the identity of the victim who has not been identified will be immediately identified, so that his family can be taken and buried," he concluded.
