Mark Zuckerberg Wants To Involve UFC Or ONE Championship In Elon Musk's Duel Against Elon Musk

JAKARTA - Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg continues to express his readiness to fight Twitter boss Elon Musk. But there is one new idea that Zuckerberg has proposed, where he wants to involve UFC or ONE Championship in his duel later.

Previously, Elon Musk had revealed that he had communicated with the Italian government for plans to use the Colosseum as the location of the fight, without involving the UFC.

Elon made this statement via Twitter social media, now known as X, Elon Musk explained the details of the fight.

This fight will be held by my foundation and Mark (not the UFC). Livestream will go through this platform (X) and Meta," said Elon Musk.

"Everything that is highlighted by the camera will have an Ancient Roman concept, so it's not a modern theme at all," he continued.

"I have spoken with the Italian Minister of Culture. They have agreed to an epic place," he added.

On the other hand, Zuckerberg also has an equally astonishing idea. The Meta boss asked that their duel would involve elite fighters from the UFC and ONE Championship as he considered the spotlight on this duel not only for him and Elon Musk, but also for professional fighters.

Through his platform, Threads. Mark wants his duel against Elon Musk to be held professionally and accommodated by world-class promoters.

"I love this sport (MMA) and I have been ready to fight since Elon first challenged me," Zuckerberg wrote as quoted on Sunday, August 13.

"If he agrees to the match date, you will definitely hear it from me too. Only until then do you think what he said was not a mutual agreement," he said.

When I fight, I want to be in the ring with world-class fighters. The only way to do this is to partner with professional organizations like UFC or ONE," he added.

Zuckerberg's intention to include him in the martial arts flow is because the UFC and ONE Championship are the two dominant powers in the mixed martial arts world or mixed martial arts (MMA).

As the UFC dominates the MMA in the West, ONE is in power in the East. As ONE Championship plans to hold four major events in the United States by 2024, the UFC is preparing to visit Singapore.
