Abidzar Al Ghifari Reveals Chronology Of Sexual Harassment Experienced At Karaoke Places

JAKARTA - Abidzar Al Ghifari was sexually harassed while on karaoke at a coffee shop. He had revealed the incident through an Insta Story upload some time ago.

Still in the context of sexual harassment, Abidzar told how the chronology of the incident occurred.

The son of the late Uje and Umi Pipik said he and his friends received an invitation to appear with the karaoke concept at a coffee shop.

"Indeed, I have a karaoke team. Now it's really happening karaoke. In one of the coffee shops, I'm talking karaoke like that, because we were invited to play there," said Abidzar Al Ghifari when met in Duren Tiga, South Jakarta on Thursday, July 13.

Abidzar recounted that the incident of sexual harassment began when he sang one of the songs ordered by visitors. At that time, he said visitors began to lose control, until finally a woman approached him and pat his butt.

"On that stage we have provided a boundary line. It's just that the audience when it starts is out of control, until finally this woman takes action holding my butt," said Abidzar.

The 22-year-old actor also revealed the reason for uploading the sexual harassment incident on social media. Although he doesn't want to exaggerate over the problem, he wants what happened to him to be a lesson for many people.

"For me, it can be used as a lesson, so you have to speak up about this. Because this will be a lesson for people, and it can also work on ethics and cleaning the heart," he said.

Furthermore, Abidzar also wanted to inform that the perpetrators of sexual harassment did not look at gender. Everyone could be the perpetrators or victims of sexual harassment.

"I just conveyed an appeal, that the harassment didn't just happen from boys to girls, but girls to boys too," concluded Abidzar Al Ghifari.
