Ten Institutions With Low Applicants In CPNS 2021 And All In Papua, Why?

JAKARTA - Registration for the selection of prospective civil servants (CPNS) and government employees with a 2021 work agreement (PPPK) has been extended. Some agencies lack interest, especially in the Papua region. Why?

The extension of registration is in effect until July 26. Based on data from the State Civil Service Agency (BKN) compiled on Sunday, July 18, 3,052,591 applicants have filled out the registration form in the SSCASN system.

Of that number, only 1,908,625 people were registered. They are registered in the administrative selection system because they have permanently stored the registration form and other required documents.

Even so, several institutions are deserted. Some even registered fewer than 20 applicants.

Low interest in Papua

The agencies that lack fans are in Papua. Referring to BKN data, there are at least ten agencies, all of which are local government agencies:

1. District Government. Lanny Jaya (18 applicants)

2. District Government. Intan Jaya (14 applicants)

3. District Government. Nduga (eleven applicants)

4. District Government. Yalimo (ten applicants)

5. District Government. Yahukimo (eight applicants)

6. District government. Mamberamo Raya (seven applicants)

7. District Government. Deiyai (three applicants)

8. District government. Dogiyai (three applicants)

9. District Government. Star Mountains (two applicants)

10. District Government. Paniai (zero applicants).

The Head of Public Relations, Legal and Cooperation Bureau of BKN, Paryono, said that he had not yet explored this. We know the magnitude of the magnet for being a servant of the state, even in Papua.

So this incident is actually an anomaly, something Paryono admitted to VOI, Monday, July 19. "This registration period has not yet been completed so that we can not fully conclude the public's interest," said Paryono.

"Does it tend to decrease or is it still like in previous years, which is still the prima donna", he added.

According to Paryono, the deepening should be done thoroughly, including the question of what positions are opened by institutions that lack interest. What is clear is that all the agencies with no interest are local governments.

For this year, BKN has opened three categories of acceptance for state civil servants (ASN). In addition to CPNS, there are also Teacher PDP and Non-Teacher PDP. "If I see that many CPNS formations have been submitted."

"So we have to look at the formation again, whether the regional government opens the formation of CPNS or just PPPK".

According to Paryono, the PPPK position is not very attractive. So if you look at the context of the position being opened, Paryono calls this a rational consideration.

"Yes, like the rest of TH K-2, they actually want to be appointed as CPNS, not PPPK. And fresh graduates would prefer to register for CPNS rather than PPPK", added Paryono.

Meanwhile, the BKN data also recorded the ten most crowded agencies applied for. Here's the list:
