Danyon Brimob Kompol Petrus Removed In The Aftermath Of Curhat's Subordinates Depositing Hundreds Of Millions

PeKANBAU - Profession and Security Division of the Riau Regional Police are still investigating the post of a member of the Mobile Brigade (Brimob) Bripka Andry Darma Irawan on social media who exposed hundreds of millions of deposits to his superiors while serving at Battalion B Rokan Hilir. Commander of Batalyan (Danyon) B Pioneer of Manggala, Rokan Hilir, Commissioner Petrus H Simamora was removed.

The Head of Propam Riau Police, Kombes Johanes Setiawan, said that Bripka Andry Darma Irawan made the post because he did not accept the demotion to Battalion A Pekanbaru. Bripka Andry felt there was no mistake while serving in Battalion B Rokan Hilir, even depositing hundreds of millions to his superiors.

"The mutation against Bripka Andry is a routine mutation. He was transferred along with 34 other personnel. Not demotion," said Kombes Johanes Setiawan as quoted by ANTARA, Tuesday, June 6.

Regarding the vent of Bripka Andry, he admitted that he had submitted a sum of deposits to the Commander of the Maggala Battalion named Kompol Petrus, Kombes Johanes said the case had been processed by the Riau Police Propam since March 2023. His party has examined eight people as witnesses.

"So the case is being followed up. Regarding this deposit, it is still being investigated, later the evidence will be in court, Kompol Petrus has now been removed from his position for examination," he said.

Since being transferred to Pekanbaru, Bripka Andry has not even entered his unit at Battalion A Pekanbaru. Even after the trial date and it has been decided, but he is not still present.

After the first discipline, he then underwent the second disciplinary process on March 23 because he had been absent for 14 days.

"The third is the case that went viral today. We have investigated it in Propam and it has been processed for follow-up," he said.
