JAKARTA - Google announced today, Thursday, August 25 that Google Play Games for PC is now available to all users in South Korea, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Thailand, and Australia in open beta.

Launching from its official page, Google Play Games is a PC application that allows you to browse, download and play certain mobile games on your Windows desktop or laptop.

Apart from enjoying your favorite Android games on PC, you'll also have access to a keyboard and mouse, smooth sync across multiple devices, and integration with Google Play Points.

Previously, the company had introduced a limited test at the beginning of the year for selected players in the five countries. And now, Google has finally opened the beta test for all its users.

Google also mentions the requirements that you must meet to participate in the beta version, your PC must meet the following minimum requirements:

  • Windows 10 (v2004)
  • Solid State Drive (SSD)
  • Gaming-class GPU
  • CPU with 8 logical cores
  • 8 GB RAM
  • Available storage space of 20 GB
  • Windows admin account
  • Hardware virtualization must be enabled
  • Compatible device and PC configuration

The search giant says that currently, there are more than 40 games available across the beta region. “We add games regularly, so check back often for new games", says Google.

But unfortunately, even though it is available for all users, Google says that Google Play Games for PC is still not available for Mac. So make sure you are using another device apart from that.
