Responding to complaints from residents regarding damaged roads through the LaporGub application, Central Java Governor Ganjar Pranowo directly inspected Jalan Cambodia, which is located in Kalisaruk Village, Kesugihan District, Cilacap Regency.

Ganjar accompanied by Acting Regent of Cilacap Yunita Suminar, met the village head of Kalisaruk Village and the residents who proposed the complaint.

Umaya Sri Pujianti, a housewife who complained to Ganjar through LaporGub, revealed that five years of Cambodian roads have been damaged and endangering motorists.

He admitted that he had reported to the village head, sub-district head and related parties but had not been heeded. Finally, Umaya submitted her complaint to Ganjar and immediately responded.

"The 5 years have been damaged, have complained to the village hall, the main thing is that they have complained frequently but they are not taken care of," said Umaya, Friday, May 12.

Umaya is also happy, the road that she and other residents go through every day to shop at the market and do their daily activities has now received attention from Ganjar.

He hopes that road repairs can be done faster so that residents can pass the road without worrying about falling.

"I'm happy to be handled directly by the Governor so it will be finished quickly," said Umaya.

After reviewing Ganjar, he said that the budget needed for repairing the road was Rp. 80 million using the village budget with assistance from the Cilacap Regency Government.

Ganjar also agreed that the request of residents who want to repair Jalan Cambodia could be completed by the end of May.

"There will be a regent who will be able to help so that (the road repairs are completed) will progress in May. Actually, it just needs communication," said Ganjar.
