Surakarta Police Chief Ensures 'Klitih' Is Not In The Region

The Surakarta City Police (Polresta) asked people who know about clith events or street crimes to immediately report to the police.

The Head of the Surakarta City Police (Kapolres) Kombes Pol Iwan Saktiadi said the report was to be identified whether it was a criminal element in Solo City or not.

"We ask the public to remain calm and not to worry about dealing with this issue. In fact, if there are facts, immediately reports to us will be followed up and strict action will be taken if the perpetrators can be identified, they will be able to be included in the criminal element regulated in the Law," said Iwan in Solo, Monday, October 30, confiscated by Antara.

Iwan Saktiadi said all incoming public reports had been investigated, both random (random) and direct checks via direct messages from the account that uploaded the issue of the clique case, so far there are no facts.

"So back some time ago, I emphasized that those who uploaded news about the issue of street crimes or what is often called klitih cases until now, were declared not in Surakarta," said Iwan.

If the public is watching and has authentic evidence, please report it to the police, especially since CCTV in Surakarta City has spread across 265 corners of this area.

He invited the public to report directly to the police and plus manual patrols from the Sparta Unit Samapta Surakarta Police, both open and closed.

The unit has security nets throughout the city of Surakarta to find out about crime cases.

On the evening of Saturday, October 28, the police also received information about the incident around the east of the Karanganyar border, but after checking, it turned out that there was none.

Until now, the police have stated that the city of Surakarta is in a safe condition. That, please note that the police need information from the public who know about these potentials. If there are people who witness such potential, immediately report it to the police.

"We hope that of course the police will be given such an accurate potential report and don't worry about the confidentiality of information in our hands," said the Chief of Police.

Alluding to the accounts that spread the information, the police will investigate the owner of the account. If the account can be accounted for, it will ask for clarification from the account owner.

If there are no police, they will communicate with relevant stakeholders to deploy these accounts or through the police cyber to dismantle accounts so as not to spread news that disturbs the public.

However, the report on the matter was purely a hoax. Everything they uploaded was in the form of a thematic article. In fact, there was a direct report after the cross-check was done, there were no facts. After confirmation, there are no facts that can support the report.
