Already Hanging A Pistol And Watch, Producers Haven't Found A Replacement For Craig's Daniel 'James Bond' At Agent 007

JAKARTA - It's been two years since actor Daniel Craig hung up Omega's pistol and watch after the release of No Time to Die, filmmaker James Bond has yet to find a replacement to play Agent 007.The producer Barbara Broccoli, quoted by the Guardian, said there was a "big road ahead" before the character was re-created for the next chapter, even executives had not modernized this franchise film.He added that the next film should reflect world changes in the two decades since Craig was confirmed as the sixth 007."I saw the film Golden Eye again when everyone said that the cold war was over, the wall was collapsed, Bond was dead and the whole world no longer needed him because now there are no criminals and peace, but that's not true," Barbara said.He added that the renewal process is very necessary every time a new actor plays the role. Daniel Craig was a hero in the 21st century."Daniel gave us the ability to explore the emotional life of character and the world to accept that. I think these films reflect the time when they are, there is something big, there is a big way forward to re-creating that character. We haven't even started it yet," he stressed.Barbara Broccoli also discussed the new Amazon series with the theme Bond, "007 Roads to A Million" which she said was a fun thing to do in the meantime. The presence of the series is expected to help meet fans' hunger for the masyhur spy franchise. When asked if there might be another Bond TV spin-off, Barbara argued that her team's focus was on making feature films. While watching Bond films, Barbara and the team needed full attention for three or four years and that should be the main focus.
"We made Bond films for big cinema screens and everything about Bond films is intended to be watched by audiences around the world in that format, so we don't want to make films on television," he said, bulging an explanation.
