Jokowi Volunteers Report Rocky Gerung To The NTT Police
Volunteers Jokowi reported political observer Rocky Gerung to the NTT Police for allegedly issuing a statement insulting President Joko Widodo as a symbol of the state.
Chairman of the Jokowi National Secretariat of East Nusa Tenggara Raymundus Penana Nuban said in the report his party asked the NTT Police to recommend reports from volunteers to the National Police Headquarters in Jakarta to summon and examine Rocky Gerung.
" Rocky Gerung's statement is really disturbing and disturbing public order," he said as quoted by ANTARA, Friday, August 4.
According to him, Rocky Gerung is an intellectual participant who deliberately caused a commotion that could have a very serious impact and disturb the unstable atmosphere of supporters and the Indonesian people as citizens.
Rocky Gerung's statement was judged to have stirred up the lives of the nation and state that were caused by intellectual arrogance that exceeded the ethical limits and norms that grew in society.
Meanwhile, Chairman of the Jokowi Volunteers Front, President Enos Tanu, said in the report that his party also asked the NTT Police to prohibit Rocky Gerung from coming to NTT after the polemic of his statement which caused a lot of commotion in several regions in Indonesia.
"We do not hesitate to take our own action with the power of the NTT community to drive him from NTT if our appeal is not heeded," he said.

Enos hopes that law enforcement officials can summon and examine Rocky Gerung so that this problem does not drag on, especially in a political year like this.
"We hope that at least he (Rocky, ed) will be summoned and examined, that's enough for us so that it will have a deterrent effect," he added.
There are eight volunteer groups who report to the SPKT Polda NTT including the Jokowi NTT National Secretariat, BaraJP NTT, Bara Baja NTT, Pospera NTT, Bara Nusa NTT, Sahabat Ganjar NTT, Ganjaran NTT and Dulur Ganjar NTT.
Meanwhile, the Head of the Integrated Police Service Center (SPKT) of the NTT Police, Iptu Daniel Sepang, who received the report, said the report received was incomplete.
"The evidence is still lacking, so we ask that we can immediately complete this report with strong evidence such as videos, tweets on social media and other evidence," he said.
Daniel also said that his party was waiting for the completeness of the report for the next few days.
